    The area is cleansed and dusted with a barrier powder so wax adheres to hair, not skin.

    Wax is applied in small, warm sections and removed with the hand held taut for a fast, low-sting pull.

    Strays are tweezed and brows are trimmed for a finished, symmetrical shape.

    A calming post-wax serum reduces redness and helps prevent bumps and ingrowns.

How to prepare

  • Let hair grow to about a quarter inch — roughly two to three weeks.
  • Do not shave between appointments; it resets your growth cycle.
  • Exfoliate gently 48 hours before, not the day of.
  • Stop retinoids and acids on the area 3–5 days prior. No waxing within six months of Accutane.
  • Skip caffeine and alcohol beforehand; take an over-the-counter pain reliever 30 minutes ahead if you're sensitive.

Aftercare

  • No hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms or workouts for 24 hours.
  • Wear loose, breathable fabrics after body and bikini waxing.
  • Avoid direct sun and self-tanner for 24–48 hours.
  • Resume light exfoliation at day three to keep ingrown hairs away.
  • Rebook every four weeks for the smoothest long-term results.

Waxing FAQs

How long does hair need to be before waxing?
About a quarter inch — two to three weeks of growth. Shorter and the wax can't grip; much longer and the service is more uncomfortable.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
There's a quick sting, but hard wax on sensitive areas makes it very manageable, and it gets easier with every visit. Most guests are surprised by how fast it's over.
How long does waxing last?
Three to four weeks for most people. Staying on a four-week schedule keeps everyone in the same growth cycle, so appointments get quicker and more comfortable.
Can I get waxed on my period?
Yes, as long as you're wearing a tampon or cup. You may be slightly more sensitive, so plan a pain reliever 30 minutes before if you'd like.
Can I wax if I use retinoids or Accutane?
Stop topical retinoids and acids on the area for 3–5 days first. If you've taken Accutane, we can't wax until you've been off it for six months — the skin lifts too easily.
