Aftercare

  • No hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms or workouts for 24 hours.

Waxing FAQs

How long does hair need to be before waxing?
About a quarter inch — two to three weeks of growth. Shorter and the wax can't grip; much longer and the service is more uncomfortable.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
There's a quick sting, but hard wax on sensitive areas makes it very manageable, and it gets easier with every visit. Most guests are surprised by how fast it's over.
How long does waxing last?
Three to four weeks for most people. Staying on a four-week schedule keeps everyone in the same growth cycle, so appointments get quicker and more comfortable.
Can I get waxed on my period?
Yes, as long as you're wearing a tampon or cup. You may be slightly more sensitive, so plan a pain reliever 30 minutes before if you'd like.
Can I wax if I use retinoids or Accutane?
Stop topical retinoids and acids on the area for 3–5 days first. If you've taken Accutane, we can't wax until you've been off it for six months — the skin lifts too easily.
